The next #LeBronWatch installment has been revealed to be inspired by the signature shoe series for baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr. – specifically the Air Griffey Max 1. Originally releasing in 1996, the Air Griffey Max 1 is considered to be one of the most successful signature shoes outside of the sport of basketball, but more importantly, it’s one of LeBron James’ favorite shoes of all-time. These early images reveal the LeBron 15 silhouette with the “Dunkman” on the heel (a logo inspired by Griffey’s “Swingman” logo), a black/teal Flyknit upper, and a white Swoosh stitched onto the forefoot. A release date isn’t known, but once LeBron James wears these on court (he typically reveals them on his IG Stories bearing before tip-off), they’ll be up for Draw on Nike ZoomX SNKRS.
