The NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 MID BLUE MINT “Katrina,” a shoe that first appeared as a rumored charity release after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, is finally releasing in 2018, 13 years after its original unveiling. The “Katrina” Jordan 3  features a white tumbled leather upper with fake elephant print detailing on the toexbox and lateral/medial side of the heel.  A bright red adorns the rear midsole, tongue, and Jumpman logo, while the 3’s fake plastic heel tab features black Jumpman branding instead of the fake Nike Air logo hit that’s been appearing on recent Jordan 3 releases. A grey outsole ties the shoe’s simple and clean look together.
