In typical MJ fashion, he sported a matching red/black nylon track suit along with a bevy of Jordan Brand apparel. The next night, Jordan switched things up and laced up a pair of the AJ1 “Chicago” while carrying an aura of swagger that had only been seen from NBA veterans in the past. While his ASG performance was not up to his standards, it was clear that the future of the NBA was in good hands.

Since that weekend, these two colorways of the Air Jordan 1 have rose to the top of the ranks above the rest of the crop. And now, the Jordan Brand has found a way to honor these two color schemes at the same time with one distinguished release. From 1985 to 2018, and in honor of the only time Michael wore both the “Banned” and “Chicago” colorways in the same weekend, the Jumpman has created the AJ1 “Homage to Home”.
