Music fired back a scathing rebuttal called “The Story Of Adidon”, potentially revealing the name of Drake’s upcoming collaboration with adidas. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the brand, Drake is now affiliated with the three stripes after moving on from Jumpman, and a large collection of lifestyle footwear and apparel will likely be in the works.
In “The Story Of Adidon”, Pusha breaks down a celebrity scandal of sorts involving Drake, Sophie Brussaux, and their alleged secret child named Adonis. Pusha claims that the name “Adidon” is an amalgam of the brand and his son’s name, and further criticizes the Toronto rapper for possibly exploiting his child to market his upcoming collaboration with adidas. While photos have not surfaced, Drake has already been spotted in an unnamed adidas shoe that may be his first sneaker release with the brand.
Regardless, adidas and Drake are likely to announce their partnership sometime in 2018, and whether or not the Adidon theory will Duramo up remains to be seen.
