Air Jordan 1 High 85 Panda0 "NYC" Shirts Jordan 1 done up in a black and yellow color scheme with embellishments encouraging the consumer not to resell. As you know, today’s sneaker market is largely dominated by mass resellers that attempt to purchase highly coveted drops at retail and flip them for sometimes double – or even higher than that in certain cases – than what they originally paid. Of course, this hurts the die hard collectors of sneakers that wear the shoes they purchase, as it makes securing pairs at retail much more difficult, and drives up the secondary market prices. Now, the Jumpman is back with a more classic red and black color scheme of that same questionable Jordan 1. While the message behind this drop is welcomed, the shoe might not be, as the aforementioned lettering creates a curious at best aesthetic that might have been better left on the drawing board. Ironically enough, this model’s NRG label means that it will be more limited than a normal GR release, meaning that if it is to be resold, it will demand a higher price due to its exclusivity – a slight oversight by the Jumpman’s brass. While no official release date has been reported just yet, pairs are expected to arrive at select Jordan Brand retailers before the calendar turns its page to 2019 in December.
