Chicago-born and bred DJ Timbuck2 is Chicago hip-hop royalty. One of the most esteemed DJs to ever come out of the Windy City, he mixed, spun, scratched, and transferred his way into hip-hop lore over two decades-plus behind the wheels of steel. Unfortunately, the brightest lights are also sometimes the first to fade, and DJ Timbuck2 passed away in 2015 after losing a battle with kidney cancer.
