In order to pay homage to the past while simultaneously creating new and refreshing product, the Jordan Brand has never shied away from adding old color schemes to new silhouettes in its storied history. Using that technique next will be the Air Jordan 6 “Flint”, that will be borrowing the famed color blocking from 2006’s release of a similarly-colored Air Jordan 7. Working with larges swathes of black and white, this familiar-looking AJ6 ushers in suede grey underlays with quick hits of Infrared 23 and Dark Concord on its heel, lace lock, and Jumpman throat branding. Serving as one of the more revered Jordan 7 constructions of all time – due to its simple, yet appealing colors – it is safe to assume that this new Jordan 6 will have a strong roll out early next year. Enjoy an official look at this honorary release below and look forward to its arrival at all the usual Jumpman stockists on January 12th.
