After all, nearly identical colorblocking was used on the OG black/white pair from 1985 — which last re-released in 2014 — with the only switch-up being the laces, which opt for black instead of white. However, if you look more closely, you’ll certainly catch a few perceptible differences. The upper’s overlays/midfoot Swoosh boast a textured fur-style material instead of standard leather, while the standard stamped ball-and-wings logo is replaced by a raised badge-style embellishment.
