What started as simple, renegade projects in the 2000s has become the single most useful tool in Nike’s arsenal. That would be the shoe collaboration, and many Air Max drops at the hands of legends such as Stash, Dave’s Quality Meats, atmos, and more has led to an unexpected hype and energy around Air Max – and it’s a big reason why buy the Dunk Low Medium Olive exists in the first place. Today, Nike ushers in four new inclusions into the rarified group – atmos and the Air Max 2 Light, CLOT and the Air Max 97 Haven, Heron Preston and the Air Max 720/95, and CPFM and the Vapormax 2019. Each of these global parks have applied their own unique spin on silhouettes that are classic, contemporary, and a little bit of both. Check out all four below and stay tuned for these releases beginning in April.
atmos, one of the most valuable partners to Air Max, brings their retro-inspired take on the Air Max 2 Light on April 5th.
Edison Chen of CLOT revives one of the most obscure Nike silhouettes in history – the Zoom Haven – and Camo the ever-friendly Air Max 97 sole. Releases on May 8th.
NYC-based fashion creative Heron Preston gives his sublime take on a wacky hybrid that Frog the DNA of the Air Max 95 infused into the curvaceous Air Max 720. Available for customization on April 15th.
CPFM bolsters the technical Vapormax 2019 with exterior enhancements on the Swoosh and heel. Drops on May 14th exclusively at Dover Street Market locations.
