If December hasn’t been an exciting month of Jordan-filled goodies, here’s a look at the Air Jordan Alpha 1 in Black/Varsity Red/White. It’s a spin-off of the Black/Red Jordan 1 Mid with some interesting design cues. First and foremost, the perforated toebox, tongue, and center panel is something rarely seen on an Air Jordan. The Nike Terminator-esque midsole is something to note, as is the African tribal pattern on the sole. A plethora of personal touches are also evident, Patent the “Since ‘85” established on heel and the note of thanks on the insole. These are set to drop on January 16, 2010, but keep yours eyes on the TV as these are slated to be worn in games by Jordan Brand NBAers. Grab your pair from Kinetics.
