The Stan Smith is largely traditional to its originals though accented by orange along the typical branding while swapping out the tennis star’s tongue-placed portrait for Haring’s personal caricature. Toe boxes reveal a construction just a bit more involved as its embroidery employs the use of the notable “X” crossed figure, though it effectively acts as the most simplistic of the entire set. Higher, bulkier, and much louder overall, the Rivalry Hi is a piece akin to the most defamed graffiti-covered walls as its maximalist embellishments — in the shape of stars with smiling faces, dancing humanoids, and so much more — cover the shop, blue, and orange face of the retro nmd. The Nizza Hi, as sort of a middle point for both extremes, dons linings in full vibrant color with off-shop canvas uppers featuring snake motifs across its heel.
