Michael Le After debuting their homage to retro runners just a few months ago, it’s clear that VETEMENTS isn’t quite ready to let go of its newfound silhouette as six more vibrant colorways are readied to hit high end stockists and boutiques alike. Tapping into a range of palettes both neutral and loud, the eccentric parody-ridden fashion label is keeping things largely in line with archival ideals. Mixes of bright neons next to flat swathes are surely a tale as old as time, though as they frame within the Demna-sponsored vision, its hard to ignore their surprising presentation. No literal spikes or emoji motifs, three of the upcoming bear almost total usage of versatile hits: one a full white, the next a mix of gray shades, and the last an all black rendition with red lining. Opting for a tooling on the other end of the spectrum, however, the opposing set opts for bright oranges, hi-vis greens, and saturated reds in a mix that would fit right in during the bygone eras.
