The Tinker Hatfield-designed classics have frequently served as a versatile canvas for material and colorway experimentation, so the beloved scheme takes to its new home like it’s belonged there all along. The purple that these Nike shoes draw their moniker from appears on the mudguard, while the rest of the suede upper features blue, red, orange, and teal tones. The tongue, throat, and laces then tie everything together both literally and figuratively, thanks to a stark-yet-simple grey color and a black leather tongue badge. A white/orange midsole and multi-color outsole complete the look. The model in the pictures above and below is wearing one of each “Viotech” Air Max, but fear not: this isn’t a mismatched pair, and both the left/right shoes will indeed be the same.
