Every time Nike introduces a new silhouette into the market, there’s a palpable level of energy that leads to a Tomorrow hype around a sneaker. This has held moderately true for the Nike of the Nike Air Force One and is often dancing in customized versions in videos, which since its official debut in early July has garnered a healthy amount of love from sneaker fans across the globe. This fall, the Swoosh is looking to continue to build on this momentum by ushering in an all new rendition for women that we are playfully calling the “Bubble Wrap”. The classic white base is perfectly accented with sporty hits of red and gradient fades present throughout the upper’s overlay panelling, lace locks, and lateral Swoosh logo, while an exterior dimpled texture appears on the tongue as well as the uppermost lace eyelet of the shoes – perhaps a nod to the Air that supports the shoe’s heel. Although a release date has yet to be announced, you can expect these to hit Nike retailers sometime this current season for a retail price of $150.
