Diadora Duratech Elite Paura Diadora N.9000, Dusseldorf-based retailer afew and Diadora have now unveiled the second part of their collaborative effort, the N.90002 “Master Formula.” Chemistry is still the name of the game here, but the “Master Formula” is brewed up from a different part of sneaker culture: the love, passion, diversity, and friendship that makes it so special to so many people. This heartfelt inspiration is brought to life by an ultra-luxe black and purple take on the N.9002 that mixes kangaroo leather and pigskin nubuck on its upper. There’s also a multi-color graphic on the medial midfoot’s logo and heel. The liner is constructed of cow leather, and each foot features unique Afew/Dr. Wefa (the imaginary “mad scientist” that formulated both sneakers in the collection) branded hits. Although the visible part of the design is certainly striking, the innards are no slouch either, thanks to a duo of colorful striped insoles that match the midfoot/heel and extoll the values of the four virtues mentioned above. The shoes are also accompanied by a special Diadora tracksuit.

The release will go down in a staggered format: the “Master Formula” will debut exclusively at Sneakersnstuff NYC on September 7th, then be available in-store at afew on September 14th, with remaining pairs being released online via raffle. Retail is set at $220 USD. The two partners are also taking the inspiration a touch farther, running an Instagram-based contest that could net you and your whole crew free pairs of both the N.9002 “Master Formula,” the N.9000 “Highly Addictive” and a tracksuit, details of which are available below.
