Since opening the doors to his exhibit at the MCA and shedding light on the many works he’s had with the entirety of the Beaverton branch thus far, Virgil Abloh has lead many to speculate on a following Jordan Brand collaboration, hopefully continuing the themes of his AJ1 released as part of “The Ten.” Though not yet confirmed, rumors of an Off-White x Air Jordan 5 are slowly making their way to the surface, surely followed by many a imaginative mock-up with his motifs shining just as usual on the much bulkier upper. Likely dressing up with his standard typography at the lateral or medial, the pair will see two colorways topped with his deconstructive design ethos. Start thinking up the many possibilities, and if you’re interested to see what the Louis Vuitton director has to release, stay tuned for official details as they surface.
