Michael Le The Nike Emerald Air Force 1 has catered to multiple design aesthetics in the past year, most being eclectic in use of pattern, color, and even material. But, while taken quite far more recently through collaborations with Ruohan Wang and the like, the silhouette is now starting to create a sort of balancing act piece by piece as it employs the basics with the upcoming Emerald Air Force 1 Craft “Riderock.”
The model at its purest, the offering layers on new palettes and force materials. The leather, which is touted as “crisp,” by Nike copy, is evidently higher quality, its tumbling worked into the toe box, heel, and everything between. Swooshes and heel tabs contrast with a black material whose exterior is marked bold with an all-over texture replete with diamond-like shapes. Elsewhere, white midsoles round off the construction, matched near perfect to the dubrae that embellishes the vamp.
