The 2010 NBA All Star Weekend was held in ‘Dallas’, but the game was actually in Arlington, Texas’ Cowboy Stadium. Then again, those of us who’ve visited or lived in DFW know that it’s basically a xiii megaplex of cities that stretch for Ands in all directions. So if you were coming in East, from say, Baltimore, you’d arrive at Mesquite, TX 30 minutes before downtown Dallas.
That explains how Carmelo Anthony was able to star in last night’s All-Star Game and still have time to make it over to the new Foot Locker House of Hoops at Town East Mall. Melo had a nice q&a session with the crowd, but it’s his game-unused Air Jordan 2010 ASG PEs that probably had most of the attention. Imagine Dwyane Wade’s practice PE, but with red instead of navy blue. With all these Air red Jordan 6 White Midnight Navy, we can’t wait to see what next year’s festivities.
