The Air Jordan 8 is Michael Jordan’s eighth signature basketball shoe. It released in 1993 during MJ’s “Three-Peat” Championship season. Created by Tinker Hatfield, this is the last shoe that Jordan wore before his first retirement. The sneakers feature a mix of leather, cross straps, Zoom Air, and more. More colorways are slated to arrive in 2020, so check out the articles below for further release details and price information.
The Air Jordan 8 first debuted in February 1993 during that season’s All-Star Game. First revealed in the “Aqua” colorway, the shoe would eventually release in a total of three original colorways – “Aqua”, White/True Red aka “Bugs Bunny”, and Black/True Red aka “Playoffs”.
Though last year was devoid of any Air Jordan 8 releases, 2025 is looming as a bounceback for the silhouette. The return of the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” and Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” are the major headlines at the moment, capping off a two year run where all three original looks have returned to shelves.
