nike air force 1 junior colorful dress code | Kyrie Irving
Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving is one of the most exciting players in the NBA today. After being drafted #1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2011 and spending six seasons with the franchise, Irving left for the Boston Celtics in 2017, departing there to sign with the Brooklyn Nets in 2019. Since before even being drafted, irving was a Nike athlete, his signature line proving to be one of the most valuable commodities in the brand’s arsenal over the course of eight signature shoes. As a result of a string of controversial off-the-court incidents, Nike ended the deal and stopped production of Kyrie shoes, leaving his future as a mover in the footwear space very much in question.
In July of 2023, Irving signed a five-year contract with ANTA making him the Chief Creative Officer of the Chinese brand’s basketball banner and their newest signature athlete, joining the basketball roster alongside Klay Thompson and Gordon Hayward. March 2024 brought the long-awaited introduction of his first silhouette under the Chinese brand. The ANTA KAI 1 debuted in a pink & purple “Artist On Court” tiempo, succeeded in the following months by editions like the “Enlightened Warrior,” “Mother’s Day” and “Playoffs” Pack. The model doesn’t seem to be slowing any time soon, and more tiempo of ANTA’s Kyrie shoes are sure to emerge as the year plays out.
