The Nike Kobe 4 is Kobe Bryant’s fourth signature shoe under the Oregon sneaker giant, first debuting in 2008. With the Swoosh’s renewed Protro program announced to bring back many of the Mamba’s most popular sneakers, the return of the Kobe 4 was high up on the wishlist. In 2023, fans got what they wanted, and the Nike Kobe 4 “Mambacita” brought the silhouette back to shelves with a sentimental Gigi Bryant-inspired colorway. In 2024, the Kobe 4 “Girl Dad” and Kobe 4 “Philly” renewed fan energy around the silhouette, an atmosphere sure to continue for the shoe’s upcoming release, the Nike Kobe 4 “Gold Medal.”
