SUPREME is a streetwear clothing label started by James Jebbia in 1994. Its first location was on Lafayette Street in New York City's famed SoHo district, located at the heart of the downtown neighborhood's shopping hub. Jebbia was raised in the U.K., but was actually born in the U.S.; he returned to the states in 1983 and later found work at Parachute skateshop. From 1991 to 1994, Jebbia was dentre-nous manager of Stussy.
