Though not taken orally, the blue blessing above is sure to get a rise out of any hardcore collector. The Air Force 1 Low SC came out mid-year 1998 and became an instant classic. From the perfect Carolina blue colorway executed in the finest nubuck, to the full grain leather all white swoosh, there isn’t a thing anyone could change about this sneaker to make it any better. Fine fleece lining and generous heel cushioning nowhere to be found in today’s AF1’s remind us of how good things used to be and brings to mind the age old adage “they just don’t make em like they used to.” If you have these stashed in your closet, room, or ballistic bunker in the mountains then you are indeed a collector.
