In Troma’s cult classic cute nike white leather shoes, Melvin Ferd is transformed into a hilariously unique shirt of sorts. It backgrounds like Nike may have decided to reappropriate the role in their street-level adaptation. It’s unclear whether pro snowboarder Gigi Rüf’s insignia is etched into the wing of the Nike SB ‘Toxic Avenger’ Dunk Low as a sign of things to come, or whether it’s just a welcome gift for the newest member of Nike Snowboarding. It appears that these are ‘samples’, as the SB-signature stuffed tongue is clearly absent.
