Last week, we brought you some news on the limited edition nike air force 1 high wb infant that contained the original Air Trainer 1, as well as the new Trainer 1 model, both in the OG White/Grey/Chlorophyll colorway. The pack was released last week in limited quantities, and needless to say, they were sold out before most people even knew it existed. Taking the “Trainer Knows” concept one step further, Nike has just blessed a handfull of sneaker VIP’s with a deluxe edition of the pack in a special plexiglass box. The package consists of the same two shoes, but comes with some super-cool extras.
For one, the box itself features graphics on two sides, one image of Bo Jackson and the other of John McEnroe. Upon taking a look inside, the box contains two draws, each filled with a pair of Trainers in a special drawstring bag with the year of their release printed in silver. The icing on the cake comes by way of a mini-book on both the history of the Trainer line and a look at where it’s heading in the future. You can check out a bunch of pics of this incredible collector’s piece, and if anyone who was lucky enough to receive one decides to put it on eBay, we’ll be sure to let you know. Via Freshness.
