The Air Jordan IX was the first shoe that released during Michael Jordan’s sudden retirement. Air Jordans are typically tied to the particular season in which he wore the shoe, but with the IX it was stuck in limbo until Michael finally wore the Air Jordan IX during his Washington Wizards days. After a successful retro attempt in 2002, the Air Jordan IX will release once more in 2010; the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS Chicago 2020 features an all-black upper with a white sole and a citrus yellow trim – much like the black-white-yellow treatment of the XIII Lows from 2005. The Citrus IX is set for a July 3rd release, and will drop at 23.5cm Jordan retailers such as Foot Locker Nike Air Jordan 3 Retro OG with Cement 25cm.
