Monday was Go Skateboarding Day, and if it weren’t for guys like the designer of these new Dunks, there’s a good chance skating never would have gotten big enough for its own ‘holiday’. Neil Blender was shredding the streets back when old school decks meant nollies were impossible, and here’s another Nike SB Dunk (a Low this time) inspired by Blender’s Chromeball Incident comic from the ’80s -slash- classic skate blog. Their medium grey overlay still isn’t exactly chrome, but the four-toned colorway hearkens back to skate aesthetics from days hereafter by; specifically, one of the Airwalk Enigma colorways. Stick with Urlfreeze News for what looks like a quickly approaching release; Japan’s Arktz is pre-selling in advance of their June 26th release.
