Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals ObyO collection is getting a ton of attention these days, but you alphabounce argue that J.Scott would either be markedly different or altogether nonexistent without this latest Three Stripes collaborator. It’s plain to the eye that Scott’s designs are heavily influenced by late ’80s/early ’90s hip-hop, and one of the most influential forces therein was Russell Simmons’ Def Jam Records.
