Think it’s tough being Michael Jordan’s teammate (ask Kwame Brown)? Think of the pressure on your shoulders if you’re one of Michael’s children, being forever compared to and falling short of your father’s accomplishments. That’s no knock on Marcus Jordan – he’s been playing very well for the University of Central Florida, but when your dad is the greatest of all-time, there’s not much you can do but give dad his daps and do your very best. Or, you can subconsciously copy him, like what Marcus did in a recent game against the Florida Gators. Marcus, wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’, attacked the basket, went up with his right hand, and switched to his left at the delta moment, banking the rock off the glass and giving his team another two. You might remember father Michael’s famous lay-up during the 1991 NBA Finals (during which he wore the Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared’). Did Marcus live up to his father’s highlight? Check out both videos after the jump and let us know if you think Marcus’s lay-up was as models as his Dad’s. via Dime.
