Instead, the Air Max Plus was given an all-new tech – Nike Tuned Air – marking a brand new era of the Air Max technology. The advanced Tuned Air was paired with a futuristic design featuring flowing lines like fluids flowing through an intricate vascular system and an all-new Air Max cushioning midsole that featured two visible compartments at the forefoot and a Pebax-infused heel unit that compartmentalized Air into particular chambers, offering optimal comfort. The Nike Air Max Motif SE features a similar design but with Flywire embedded on the upper, offering a lighter package than what you’d expect with the original design.
