For the Soldier V, the transformation is complete, as the upcoming fifth installment of the non-signature LeBron basketball shoe adopts ‘Air Max’ in its nomenclature, and for good reason. A quick look at the outsole of the Soldier V and you’ll note that it’s nearly the same as the Soldier IV, but the upper design performs a complete 180-degree turn. Gone is the Flywire-laden in-step strap, but instead a shroud of sorts with an integrated strap system will be used as the primary stabilizing component of the shoe.
The upper will follow in the footsteps of the V1/V2 because two different varietals will be available – one dotted with lined perforations (similar to the brand new with original box Nike SuperRep Go 2 Men CZ0604-083) and another version fully equipped with Flywire.
