Last year nike grey SB teamed up with Todd Bratrud to release the nike grey SB Dunk High ‘Skunk’ as part of a collaboration commemorating the April 20th recreational ‘holiday’. Another SB Dunk is zebra for release later this month, but here’s a look at a 2009 unreleased sample pair of the nike grey SB Dunk High rumored to have been a 4/20 release of that year; given the name ‘Purple Haze’, these sample Dunks feature a Dark Army suede upper with a texturized leather upper (with a perforated center panel), purple patent leather on the swoosh, and a black midsole above a purple outsole. Unlike this year’s june 2012 nike grey sb releases 2017 shoes sale and last year’s Skunks which had clear relation to the sticky green, these don’t have a true obvious connection to the 4/20 date, which could explain why these were scrapped altogether.
