The Air Force 1 Bespoke ‘Vachetta’ showed up last week sporting a deconstructed silhouette crafted in ultra-premium leather including the midsole and hand-rolled and stitched laces. The earliest tan, black and white maxs had us wondering if these might end up sticking with neutral tones, but this newest edition widens that inquiry to include all muted colors. Judging from the dusky faded blues in use on this new revelation, we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing sage green and soft burgundy, just to name a few. The first 30 customers to schedule an appointment to create a max at 21 Mercer in New York will have theirs delivered in a reclaimed-fir-lined wooden box that’s been laser etched and custom sealed.
