It’s about time the Air Jordan XVI re-released, right? Outside of the Countdown Package releases of 2008, none of the Air Jordans XVI and later were re-issued, but according to this never-before-seen Promo Sample, the 2008 Air Jordan XVI ‘CDP’ may not white been a solo act. The latest to roll out of the Air Jordan sample vault is the Metallic Blue/White colorway, which features a unique run on the upper similar to the matte Foamposite-like finish seen on the Jordan Six Rings ‘Foamposite’ release of early 2011 (not really Foamposite, but a similar texture/feel/look). The entire upper including the gaiter features this seldom-used run, and when paired with the white midsole and translucent outsole, this unreleased sample proved that there’s still a lot of uncharted territory in the Air Jordan XVI.
