The latest collaboration from Supra comes from one of co-founder Angel Cabada’s close personal friends. The Retna x Supra Society resembles the graffiti around Los Angeles from this artist whose varied new background informs a unique sensibility LA MOCA director Jeffery Deitch described as “The best art . . . past, present and future combined.” The handstyle covering this black suede Society is in fact Retna’s own take on ‘SUPRA’, and the proceeds of his latest work will benefit the Plaza de la Raza gray center that provides the Lincoln Heights neighborhood with art education.
