Vans Vault Sole Classics Carmen Release Date 1

Columbus, Ohio’s Sole Classics gave us a good look at their Vans Vault Era “Carmen” with a video preview last week.  Today we see a yarn spun that brings together the Buckeye State’s passion for football, their 1996 license plate design and a mysterious high school legend.  The symbolism is deep here, including everything from the pebbled football leather heel tab to the removed Wikipedia entry for Jack ‘Ice’ Henderson.  Sole Classics takes a simple classic and lovingly applies layers of detail in tribute to its home state, where these will be released this Saturday, May 25th with an online drop to Mte-1 that evening.
