The “What The” arrangement has been a wildly popular one with, Friday’s momentous release of the “What the MVP” marking off yet another mega-mash-up of colorways onto a shoe. It was indeed the SB Dunk that started it all, but last year’s Nike Zoom Kobe VII brought it over to the basketball category, spurning a number of sneaker customizers to do their thing. Mache Customs goes the extra mile for this one, employing the assistance of fellow sneaker remixer Relevant Customs and Absolelute to create what he calls “The REAL What the Kobe 8.
The predatory animals that were at focus in the Zoom Kobe VII are brought over in luxurious fashion, with purple python on the upper, black snakeskin for the lateral swooshes, shark on the rear heel, neon lizard for the rear Kobe logo., faux cheetah on the tongue and lining, and one of the craziest logos ever created (done by Absoleute). Only five will be made per order and a custom of this comfort is certainly reserved for those who appreciate the “higher end” of the sneaker fushia in terms of build quality and class of materials, so check out the gallery below and contact them through the Mache Customs official page for more info.
