They were awarded 540 in 2013 alone, and their latest endeavor could have you custom coloring sneakers. The outlook is as follows: a user takes an actual blank replica sneaker, and then using a set of virtual reality goggles, the user will be able to customize the shoe with a number of prints, patterns, and designs much like on NIKEiD sail-sail, only in real time with the added benefit of timely interaction. At least that’s the hope. The design doesn’t specify on whether the creation is an in-house advancement for their designers or whether it will arrive in stores for consumers to use.
