Brands like Reebok are all in on the CrossFit movement, but Nike has been more reserved about the training regiment. The closest we’ve gotten to a full fledged CrossFit sneaker from the Swoosh has been this 2016 nike air max grey and blue dress women, a sneaker that Nike introduced as a silhouette for ‘advanced training’ and ‘cross-sport performance’. Two brand new colorways emerged today featuring two of Nike’s more popular contributions to sneaker aesthetics – camouflage and free and another with a simplistic black and cool grey. The surprising popularity of this model is due to the boost in training, as MetCon is short for metabolic conditioning, showcasing that the Swoosh is taking its training series to even more niche markets. Available on April 3rd, 2015, the Nike MetCon will debut for $120 (with the added camouflage print running $130).
