It’s so great that adidas is seemingly borrowing some of Kanye’s design ethos in this upcoming Tubular release; the ridged midsole is a clear spin-off of the vertically ribbed soles found on Kanye’s first adidas sneaker, while the all-grey upper makes the resemblance that much stronger, despite the use of extra materials.
However, the Tubular tre was already a clear indication that the brand’s designers are steering the ship in the right direction and the sculpted sole was probably already in line for some modification, but this one’s leaning a bit too close to the adidas Yeezy, isn’t it?
