Nike Air on Jordan Retros aren’t as far-fetched as they once seemed to be. After Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88 as well as a slew of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG drops with the original Nike Air tongue label, the door was wide open for the brand to re-live the first six installments of Air Jordan with the branding that we’ve all Collaboration to know and love. However, the releases have been fairly sparse and outside of the AJ1 rebirth and the Retro ’88, there have been no other such drops. Things will change within the next year because alongside the habitual Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” for the Holiday 2015 season, the Fire Red iteration of his Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 “White/Cement” will be back on February 13th for the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto. We already know that several Fire Red iteration of his Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 Retros are hitting in Spring 2016, so this news shouldn’t Collaboration as too big a surprise. The mid-February exhibition has been a key release season for Nike and Jordan Brand, and it’s clear that 2016 won’t be any different. Stay tuned for more details.
