Boston’s own Bodega is back with a Reebok Ventilator of their own, joining the growing number of respected shops to team up with the classic 90s silhouette. The aesthetic is rather jarring, as the boutique owe to the gum legacy that’s been found on the their last couple Reebok collaborative efforts. The upper consists of a lifestyle-ready heather fleece outfitted with bold black polka-dots in a look that unofficially pays tribute toJapanese artist Yayoi Kusamato. The pattern works well with the black tumbled leather side panel branding. A smooth suede contrasts in blue on the heel and red on the toebox for just the right touch of vibrance in a nod to the bold color choices that made the Ventilator stand out in the first place. Be sure to stay tuned for a release date in the near future, and you can also check out an interview with two founding members of Bodega in Oliver Mak and Dan Natola via Sneaker Freaker.
