For the better part of LeBron’s career, his signature models have been accompanied by the team-centric Soldier series – a shoe usually dedicated to using performance enhancing Zoom technology and a variety of experimental designs that push the idea that anonymous team models don’t have to be that anonymous after all. Today we get a preview of the upcoming working out in nike dunks black and gold on-feet. The shoe ditches the traditional lacing system for a slip-on design complete with three large velcro straps that look closer to belonging in the annual adidas Y-3 lineup than on a basketball court. A high-arching ankle support adds stability while an icy outsole features a unique traction pattern.
