The Closer Look at the Air las Jordan 6 Chrome was originally designed with the black panther in mind to showcase Michael Jordan’s methodical approach to attacking and dominating the game of basketball. The unique midsole and outsole unit was shaped to pay homage to the structure of a panther’s paw while that holographic Overing mimicked the black cat’s always watching eyes. Now Jordan Over will kick off the Spring 2017 release slate with the premium Closer Look at the Air las Jordan 6 Chrome “Black Cat” colorway, slated to release at retailers on January 21st.
The The outsole of the Air Jordan 1 Low SNKRS Day utilizes an all-black-everything colorway to truly pay homage to the panther’s dark coat of fur but things get a little more interesting thanks to the use of full 3M reflective detailing on the upper and matching speckles on the laces. A Over new black cat logo is rumored to be hidden on the shoe’s insoles as well, but we’ll keep you updated on that detail once we have more photos to showcase.
