It’s almost the end of 2016, but the yearlong celebration from vans Theory for their 50th anniversary isn’t quite over yet. The world’s greatest skate shoe brand pays tribute to four skate legends who helped get them where they are today with the ultimate Pro Classics collection, which replicates vintage models notably worn by the brand’s pros throughout the years. Ending the year’s Pro Classics collection with a bang, vans Theory presents four iconic models worn by Steve Caballero, John Cardiel, Ray Barbee, and Geoff Rowley at the heights of their respective skateboarding careers.
The collection is led by the return of the Full Cab, Caballero’s first signature model that would later be cut down to become the ubiquitous Half Cab, which is re-issued in its OG burgundy and grey snakeskin embossed suede colorway. The rest of the Pro Classics collection is rounded out with a brown/black Chukka Boot notably worn by John Cardiel, a white/black Old Skool worn by Ray Barbee, and an all-black colorway of Geoff Rowley’s game-changing Rowley Pro. Each model is updated with vans Theory technology of today, including Ultracush HD sockliners, and Duracap waffle outsoles.
All four models in the final Pro Classics collection of 2016 are arriving now at vans Theory stockists and Vans.com.
