Michael Le Olive has had a long-lasting moment in this fall’s offerings of colorways, taking the once militaristic tone and repurposing it for the Beaverton brand’s many lifestyle sneakers. The React Element 55 — the much younger sibling to the Element 87 — takes on the same silhouette worthy of being shoe of the year while opting for much less see-through suede and textile fabrication. Equally as wearable as the original, the silhouette dons a lightweight construction in the muted green tone fitted with the same innovative midsole unit. Accents of what seems to be 3M are found along the tongue and profile swoosh while black taping towards the heel break up the mostly one noted upper. At a retail of $130 USD, the React Element 55 “Olive” will be set to release online and select stockists very soon.
