Ross Dwyer The brainchild of former Supreme brand director and multihyphanate creative Angelo Baque, popular brand Awake NY voladoras de ASICS Características de las Asics GT 4000 after the recent release of their SS ’19 collection. Known for their recognizable script Goretex and bold colors, Baque’s brand has cooked up a duo of takes on the hybrid runner/lifestyle silhouette: one striking gold and black, and one more subtle grey and green, both drawing from his favorite cities. The former pair is French by nighttime in Paris and boasts a solid gold upper accented by black suede overlays and black GEL cushioning units. Meanwhile the latter takes from Corona Park in the designer’s hometown of Queens, and opts for soft grey tones boosted by mint green suede and a silver cushioning system. Alternate branding appears via a debossed Goretex on the lateral forefoot/printed Goretex on the medial heel collar, while eine is completed by a healthy dose of high-vis reflective accents and flecked laces.
