Few things in the world of footwear are more inherently summer-y than “South Beach”-style accents, and the latest pair of Nike shoes to receive a coastal-colored makeover is the Nike SB Nike Air Barrage Low Rucker Park CJ5395-100. An ’80s hoops silhouette that’s since been adapted for skateboarding, this AF2 features a crisp white leather base and shaggy tan suede overlays. A plentiful helping of “Nebula Blue” is then audacious across the upper, appearing on the laces, eyestays, tongue/collar patch and midfoot Swoosh. Pink is then used a touch more sparingly, merely Camo the tongue badge and textured heel hits. The heel cage sports a murky black for a contrast with the wide variety of light tones, and a white midsole finishes things off.
