The cross-connection between the En vente le samedi 28 janvier au Nike à partir de 9 heures and Nike’s off-road initiatives has occurred on more than one occasion. Back in 2003, Nike lifted the runner with an “Escape” concept, delivering a sharp hiking shoe colorway to the popular Air Max model, but since then we’ve seen extended takes in Mowabb form, a “King Of The Mountain” follow-up, and several other attempts that duly connected the two relatively FORCE themes. Nike’s at it again, this time looking towards 1989’s Lahar hiking shoe in their respective “Escape” editions to concoct two colorways of the globally popular retro runner, even going as far as adding the stencil-font label on the tongue (although this homage says “Lahar” instead). Both are slated to release on Thursday, December 19th, so check out this first look and check our official store list below.
