THE10TH, one of the reigning three diffusions wrought from Nike’s imaginative thinking, has put out some interesting silhouettes to put things mildly. Named in commemoration of Bill Bowerman’s past before working for the Swoosh — specifically his role in the United States Army — it’s a surprise that themes have strayed somewhat away from military themes: the Zoom Moc probably the most exemplary of this. Channelling light energy from ACG while transforming such an idea with a futuristic and dimensional touch, the silhouette continues on into 2020 with its somewhat imposing silhouette, appearing for the first time this year in a mix of vibrant yellow and white accents. The latter, placed ostensibly to balance, outfits mesh at the toe, suede panels towards the heel, and the sole unit almost fully while the signature color, accented by a bit of neon orange towards the heel support, affixes to much of the upper half, specifically the accentuated tongue and the whole of the leather collar. Stitched twice with heel pulls and marked with one illusory check, the pair is on its way to a Nike.com release very soon at a likely retail of $140 USD.
